NUMERICAL PREDICTION OF PRECIPITATION IN TOMSK USING MESOSCALE MODELS

Abstract (English):
To study the predictive properties of Weather Research & Forecasting and TSUNM3 mesoscale models for predicting heavy precipitation in Tomsk, a series of calculations were performed using these models for individual dates in 2021 and 2022, when the amount of precipitation accumulated over 12 hours exceeded 5 mm.
