The results of expeditionary studies of the spectral index of light attenuation (SILA) in the range of 350-800 nm during freezing at different sites and depths in the Novosibirsk reservoir, including the Berd Bay, are given. To assess the contribution of insoluble hydrosols to the SILA, measurements were carried out in two versions: in the first version, water was analyzed directly from the samples taken; in the second, filtration was carried out through filters MFAS-OC-02 with an average pore size of 0.22 μm. It was found that at several depths there is an abnormal course of the SILA consisting in an increase in its values in the red region of the spectrum, which may be due to the adsorption of nanoplankton to hydrosol particles and thereby increasing their optical activity in the red region of the spectrum.
