The description of the daily course of the aerosol attenuation coefficient in the spectral range of 0.44÷11.5 microns for the conditions of the arid zone of Kazakhstan using a one-parameter model is given. It is shown that when using the aerosol attenuation coefficient at a wavelength of 0.55 microns or the meteorological range of visibility as an input parameter, the difference between the average values of the experimental data of the daily course and its calculations according to the model varies within 0.01÷0.02 km-1.
