A validation of the results produced by the ground surface reflectance recovery algorithm was carried out using measurements from the MODIS spectroradiometer and ground-based observations from the RadCalNet network. For the validation, data acquired at the La Crau station (southern France) on July 9, 2020, were selected. A strong agreement was obtained between the ground surface reflectance derived from the proposed algorithm, the MOD09_L2 product, and the ground-based measurements from the RadCalNet instrumentation.
