Using computational algorithms based on Mie theory, we studied the features of the polarization characteristics of solar radiation scattering in liquid droplet clouds and fogs. The study showed that the size distributions of droplets for various models of clouds and fogs are characterized by their individual specific peculiarities of angular distributions of the degree of polarization and areas with tangential and radial polarization.
