METHOD OF PERIODIC SEQUENTIAL PHASE SYNCHRONIZATION – PHASE MODULATION FOR FORMING INFORMATION CHANNELS IN A SYSTEM OF COHERENT COMBINING OF LASER BEAMS

Abstract:
The results of an experimental study of the influence of natural acoustic noise and the length of fiber-optic connections in a coherent fiber laser beam combining system on the "freeze" time, during which the phase relationships between the beams established during phase synchronization change only slightly, are presented. It is shown that the "freeze" time of phase fluctuations is inversely proportional to the total length of the fiber-optic connections and increases with acoustic insulation of the fiber connections.
