The paper examines the effect of temperature inversion on the level of air pollution. The Lagrangian stochastic dispersion model is used for calculations, which takes into account the initial rise of the impurity. It was found that for urban conditions with two point high-altitude sources (pipes), temperature inversion contributed to the increase in the amount of polluting particles in the studied area (respiration zone).
