MULTISPECTRAL CAMERAS BASED ON OPTICAL APERTURE DIVISION FOR HIGH-THROUGHPUT DIAGNOSTICS OF PLANT BIOSYSTEMS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Multispectral cameras are expanding the capabilities of spectral machine vision systems by enabling simultaneous analysis of both morphological and spectral characteristics of objects. The authors have developed a method for the simultaneous acquisition of spectral data, based on forming multiple images on a single sensor using a multi-aperture system combined with a glass spectral grating. This technology ensures reliable data collection during motion and fast processes, addressing the limitations of existing methods while preserving their advantages. Based on this approach, cameras operating in the visible and near-infrared ranges (300–1000 nm, 16 channels; 450–850 nm, 8 channels) have been developed. Testing confirmed their potential to enhance the informativeness, reliability, automation, objectivity, and efficiency of remote monitoring of plant biosystems.
