MEASUREMENTS OF ATMOSPHERIC TURBULENCE PARAMETERS BY OPTICAL METHOD IN THE INFRARED WAVELENGTH RANGE

Abstract (English):
The paper presents an algorithm for estimating atmospheric turbulence using a special optical target in the infrared wavelength range. A comparison is made of the structural function of the refractive index based on the data of the AMK-03 ultrasonic weather station and the data obtained by processing the target images. It is found that the values of the structural function of the refractive index obtained from the AMK-03 weather station and the passive optical method differ by three orders of magnitude along the route.
