INVESTIGATION OF CYCLONIC ACTIVITY OVER DAEJEON IN THE WINTER-SPRING PERIOD USING A FIBER LIDAR
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
During the winter and spring period, an experiment was conducted in Daejeon, Korea, to determine the aerosol state of the lower atmosphere around the clock. The purpose of the research is to create lidar and measurement techniques for remote monitoring of aerosol variability with high time and distance resolution in the near infrared range. Remote sensing was carried out along an inclined track using a fiber lidar. The parameters of the fiber mini-lidar allow lidar measurements of backscattered radiation in the atmosphere with an interval of one minute and a resolution of 7.5 meters at a distance of up to 4,500 m. The results of measuring the development of cyclonic activity within 24 hours up to an effective altitude of 1150 m are presented. The analysis of the received data is carried out. It is shown that the developed equipment and measurement methods make it possible to gain new knowledge about the state of the atmosphere.
