In the Earth's atmosphere, oscillations with periods of 27.32 and 13.78 days have been repeatedly detected, which were attributed to the lunar gravitational-tidal mechanism of origin. In the present paper, it is shown that at least three solar indices have also spectral maxima with such or very close periods, and a hypothesis on the solar origin of the considered atmospheric oscillations is suggested and discussed.
