ESTIMATION OF LIDAR SIGNAL INTENSITY DURING FLUORESCENCE EXCITATION OF IRON ATOMS IN THE MESOSPHERE
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
One of the directions of theoretical and experimental research of solar-terrestrial physics is the control of concentrations of metal vapors in the atmosphere, such as sodium Na, iron Fe, potassium K, etc. The results of calculating the fluorescence signal of iron Fe atoms depending on altitude above sea level are presented. The intensities of fluorescence and unbiased scattering signals on molecules of the main gas components of the atmosphere are compared.

Keywords:
lidar, mesosphere, fluorescence of iron atoms
