VARIABILITY OF THE BIOOPTICAL CHARACTERISTICS PROFILE AT THE DAILY STATION IN KAMGA BAY IN MARCH 2024

Abstract (English):
In March 2024, as part of a mixed expedition of the Institute of Water and Environmental Problems SB RAS and the Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, with the assistance of the Altaiskiy Nature Reserve staff, a comprehensive survey of the bio-optical characteristics of Kamga Bay (northeastern part of Lake Teletskoye) was carried out. In particular, in the area where the Kamga River flows into the bay from the ice at a point with coordinates (51.797536° N and 87.716085° E), measurements were taken at a daily station. Measurements of temperature profiles, photosynthetically active radiation, beam attenuation coefficient at 660 nm, chlorophyll – a and organic matter fluorescence were taken every two hours. A total of 13 stations were completed. As a result of the conducted research, a daily cycle of bio-optical parameters of the aquatic environment was discovered, the features of which are discussed in this paper.
